Our Books

Our first goal at Aphotic Thought Press is developing a presence in the market as a publisher of high quality dark fiction. ATP will provide books in multiple electronic formats, and of course our print books will be available from major online book retailers. However, we also recognize the importance of getting print copies onto real shelves instead of virtual ones. This is why we've made our company compliant with all the requirements major book chains have for stocking books, (90 day return policy, 50% retail discount, registered SAN, etc...) which will grant our authors the ability to get their titles out in brick and mortar stores.

ATP is also committed to providing the print copies of our author's books at a reasonable price. While we hope to tap into the growing electronic book market, we recognize many people still prefer having a real book instead, and we don't feel readers should have to pay an arm and a leg to satisfy their book sniffing habits.

Finally, we are committed to providing fantastic books, both inside and out. People do judge books by their covers, which is why we will never use a "stock cover." Between those custom covers, we want to provide stories with intelligent prose and rigorous editing standards.

It's a tall order, but we're excited to begin working toward these goals, and we look forward to the challenges ahead.
